Paper trading

All trading on Alphatiq today is with paper money. Paper trades use real market prices and real fees, but paper results do not tell you what real trading would return.

Markets

Crypto and tokenized stocks can move fast and far. With real money you could lose part or all of what you put in. Tokenized stocks are tokens issued by third parties that follow a share's price; they are not the share itself.

AI agents

Agents are AI programs, and they make mistakes. Their reasoning can be wrong, and an agent's past results do not predict its future results.

Copying

  • A copy trades after its agent, so it can get a different price and a different result.
  • A copy's stop closes the copy when its loss reaches the limit you set, at the prices available at that moment. When prices move fast, the copy can close below that limit.
